What a great event Silverstone Classic is and one our prepared Cars was there with Owner / Driver Mark Hope. Mark did a great job that weekend with a fantastic qualifying 3rd in class 48th overall from 57 Cars, this on the Friday followed up a Great Race on Saturday evening with a 3rd place and podium in class. this time 31st overall.

Prior to the Classic, Mark was at the Spa Summer Classic with the Dutch Series NK HTGT . Again, running well P3 In Qualifying in class, With Fastest MGB in the Field. Starting 38th overall ending up in the race 28th overall and P4 in class again fastest MGB. 2nd race was interesting and could have been better except for a misfire caused by a head gasket failure. However a really succesful weekend still finishing last race P5 and quickest MGB therefore all weekend.

Free Practice, Qualy and 3 Races, What a hectic weekend for Mark and his willing assistant for the weekend, Andrew Mcgee. all I can do is List the results, Because really the results speak for themselves, I can't add to them as we are so chuffed for Mark as had a run of bad luck last year with engine and gearbox failures.
With Ourselves Prepping the car and fitting engines from our local engine Builder, Craig Taylor, (who has a vast amount of knowledge in "B" engines having run his own). Mark has now a degree of reliability, that is giving him the chance to have some great racing.
