Cast in L169TF alloy. Steel top hat bushes are screwed into the housing to support the lay shaft. These have proved to be very reliable with no loosening of the lay shaft. The inside edge of the top hat bush has slots for the thrust washers. Resulting in no failure or adverse wear of the thrust washers. Fitted with brass magnetic filler and drain plu
