Busy Start to 2024

What a start, Busy Winter as all in Motorsports know is hard times, but we have been reinvesting and working hard.

We have just completed a busy week with 3 Events covered from Weds eve to Saturday night.

Andy Yool's Mustang at Goodwood Testing for the 81st Members Meeting on Thursday. With Jamie Chadwick jumping in it for the first time. Also on Thursday at Snetterton with TCRUK & Rick Kerry’s Cupra for the pre-season Media Day. Both days very successful.

From Snetterton to Donington Park for the 1st Round (2 races) of Britcar Trophy Champiosnship. Friday was spent looking after some of our Customers with Autotel Digital Radio equipment and service, and also some of our Vbox Customers.

So Saturday Morning arrived and Straight into Qualifying for Martin Byford and Dave Farrow. No testing as we were using a substitute car for the weekend as Our BMW was on the sidelines as we had some holdups out of our control. On we went with the plans just to get some points for the championship. Well they certainly did that P3 In Qualy from with Dave just slightly ahead of Martin and Qualyfying 3rd between them. Starting from the Pitlane, Dave made his way up to P2 leaving Martin the Job of Bringing it home in the same position as the pace of the car in front was not achievable.

Race 2, Martin started P2 in class but half way up the Grid as we had finished Overall a lot further up than we should. Storming Job by Martin in Race 2 and he built up a substantial lead on the chasing Ginetta. Dave got in at the stop and had a nice cushion of nearly a minute. Although this was wiped out by a safety car near the end, but he did the job and we pulled another 2nd place Trophy for the Boys. With a driver of the day awarded to Dave as well. Both Drivers extremely happy and the EDF team doing there normal great work we left in a good place. Roll on next outing…..
